El ciento del pueblo.
The first thing that struck me about this book was the fact that it was written in Spanish. I was surprised to find that the author was a native of Mexico City, and that he was writing in English. The book is divided into three parts, each of which is about a different aspect of the Mexican experience. Part I is a history of Mexican culture, with a focus on the Spanish-speaking population. It is written from the perspective of a Mexican who has lived in Mexico for many years. He describes the history and culture of his country, from its earliest days to the present day. This is the first part of this series, which will be published in the fall of 2013. In Part II, the reader will learn about the various aspects of life in Mexican society, including the role of women, religion, politics, economics, education, culture and the arts. These are the topics that will come up in Part III.
Part I: History of Spanish Culture
In Part 1, we learn that Mexico was founded by the Spaniards in 1521, but that they were not the only ones who came to Mexico. There were also other peoples who arrived in this country. They included the Aztecs, Incas, Mayans, Aztec, Zapotec, Chichimec, Toltecas, Pueblos, Tlaxcala, Yucatecans and others. Mexico’s history is not as well known as that of other countries, because it is so different from that in other parts of Latin America. For example, in parts 1 and 2, I will focus primarily on Mexico, while in part 3, Mexico will become a topic of discussion. As I mentioned earlier, this is part one of my series on Mexican history. If you are interested in learning more about Mexican life, you should read Part 2.
I will begin with the story

“I am not a man of war, but a soldier of peace,” said the soldier, “and I have come to you to ask you for a favor. I am a poor man, and I cannot pay my debts. You have given me a horse, a mule, two horses, three mules, four mares, five mare, six mars, seven marts, eight mens, nine mons, ten moys, eleven moyes, twelve mays, thirteen maws, fourteen mawes and fifteen mahs. And I ask that you give me one hundred and fifty dollars, for I do not have enough to pay them all. If you will give it to me, I will go to the king and ask for his permission to sell my horse and mails, to buy a new one, or to give him a present of his own. But if you do this, you must give the money to my father, who is a rich man. He will pay it back to us in full, if we will not sell our horses and mail.”
“I will do as you say,” replied the man; “but I must ask your permission first.” “You must,” answered the other, with a smile, as if he had been told a joke. “If you wish to go, go with me.” The two of them went to a house in the neighborhood of the town, where they found a young man who was a very good horseman. The young soldier took him into his arms, kissed him, gave him his money, took his mace, sword, shield, helmet, boots, saddle, bridle, moccasins, girdle and all the rest of what he could carry, put them on, tied them up, set them down, then went away. When he came back, he found the young horse in a bad condition, his legs were broken, the horse was bleeding, its head was broken off, it had lost its tail, all its teeth were missing, there was no hair on its body, no skin on the head, nothing but bones. It was very sick, very weak,
