This recipe is for the first batch, so you’ll need to add more cocoa to the recipe. Once you have the gums, it’s time to put them in the freezer. It’s best to freeze them for at least 2 hours. After that, they’re ready to eat. They’re also great to serve with a cupcake.
I used the same recipe for my chocolate chip cookies. But I added a little more chocolate to them. To make them, I just used 1 1 /2 cups of chocolate, melted and cooled, then I mixed in 1 egg, the 1 tsp of baking chocolate and the 2 tsp vanilla. Then I melted the remaining chocolate in a microwave safe bowl and added it to my gum bears, which were then placed in an airtight container. When I was done, my cookies were ready.

Gradually add in vanilla and egg yolks. Stir until well combined, then add powdered egg whites. Fold in chocolate chips. Spread frostings evenly on a parchment lined baking sheet. Place in oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or till a knife inserted into the middle comes clean and the top is set. Cool completely. Store in an airtight container in a cool dry place.
