The coconut and almond oils are the only ingredients that I add to the recipe. I also add a little bit of sea salt to taste. The coconut is the perfect balance of oil and protein. It’s also a great source of vitamin E, which is essential for healthy skin. (I also use coconut milk in recipes that call for coconut.) I like to add some organic honey to my coconut-based recipes, but you can use any honey you like. You can also substitute coconut flakes for the coconut. If you’re using coconut, you’ll need to adjust the amount of coconut to your liking. For example, if you use 1 cup, add 1 tsp of honey. Or, for a more traditional recipe, use 2 cups of raw coconut (not the canned variety).
I like my skin to be soft and smooth, so I usually add about 1-2 drops of my favorite moisturizer, like jojoba oil or joe. This will help to soften the skin and help it absorb the oil. To make my moisturizers, I mix them in a blender or food processor until smooth. Then I blend them into a paste. My favorite is my homemade coconut cream. When I’m using jojo, it’s a bit thicker, and I don’t like the texture of the joja. But, when I make joi, the consistency is just right. So, this is a good way to use up some of your joji.
