If they reported any of these adverse events, then they received a written report of their adverse event. A total of 12 subjects (10 men and 10 women) were included in the study. Each subject was randomly assigned to one of two groups. One group was given the high protein diet and the other group received the low protein, high carbohydrate diet (Table 1).
