James Cruz, a music and marketing executive who was the former president of Bad Boy Entertainment, appeared as a guest on N.O.R.E.’s Drink Champs podcast. The negotiation included a 10% stake in the brand and an agreement to market it. Cruz said they had until midnight to sign the final contract or it was over.
