1/2 tsp. salt

 1 cup of water
2 cups of rice
3 cups water, divided
Mix all ingredients together and mix well. 
Heat oil in a pan and add the rice. Cook for about 5 minutes. Add the water and cook for another 5-10 minutes until the mixture is thick and thick. Remove from heat and let cool.  
Add the salt and pepper to taste. Serve with rice and enjoy!

6 cups chicken broth
8 cups vegetable broth (or water) (optional)  (see notes)   1 tsp of salt (to taste) 1 cup water (for the chicken) 2 cups brown sugar (about 1 1⁄2 cup) 3 cups sugar
Method:  Mix the ingredients in the bowl of a stand mixer. Beat on medium speed until smooth. Pour into a large bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Let sit for at least 1 hour. When ready to serve, pour the sauce over the top of the cooked rice, and serve.

I think it’s really hard to find a good source of protein, especially when you’re trying so hard not to overdo it. So I started looking for a protein source that I could eat on a regular basis. I found a few different sources of it, like chicken, beef, pork, eggs, nuts, seeds, beans, lentils, tofu, etc. But I was really looking to try to make it a little more balanced. It’s not like I just ate a bunch of chicken and beef and eggs and nuts and lentil and tofu and everything. That’s just not how I eat. You know, I don’t like to go out and eat a ton of food. If I do, it just makes me feel like crap. Like I need to take a break from eating. When I go to the gym, if I have to, that just doesn’t work for me. My body just wants to be able to function. The more I can eat, the better I feel. There’s no reason to feel bad about it when I get home.
